lol at clarence! it's a wonderful photo, who cares if it's sharp??? i used to care about sharpness now i purposely blur my photos... maybe it's just me, i don't like it when somebody's hair is too neat either, makes me wanna mess it up :) Elaine- @ 2008-12-16 19:50:25
[I didn't intentionally delete your comment, Sherri...I tried to respond to it much like I did Clarence's, above. It somehow deleted the whole thing. Sorry!] sherri @ 2008-12-16 23:50:38
I don't know whether to feel sorry for that plant, or to admire its tenacity for growing despite everything.
It's the sort of thing you only notice in a traffic jam. Reminds me of that Ballard novel where a man gets trapped on a traffic island and has to learn to hunt and gather :) cat @ 2008-12-17 03:07:04
Hello I really like your blog, I would like a link exchange with you [ed. - click on his name to visit his site...just cleaning up].
Great job framing this shot. Like the patterns and tones. Interesting composition, really nice work. John Maslowski @ 2008-12-17 07:14:39
I like the image very much but they are taking rather a long time to sharpen up even with broadband - I looked at the properties and see that this file is nearly a meg any reason why you are using such big files? Waiting for them to sharpen up does spoil the experience and encourages one to move on.
As I said, I do like the image very much though terrorkitten @ 2008-12-17 16:03:06
Great graphical effect for this image, the lines on the wall in opposition with the grass, all in curves...

Maybe you should have named this I A Legend:-) Comments disappearing, very little growth, a spot light:-) Rachael @ 2008-12-17 16:51:57
I meant "I AM LEGEND" & now I really think you should have named it that:-) Rachael @ 2008-12-17 16:53:07
Hm. I have a shitty DSL connection and my site always loads up pretty quickly, even on my laptop. I don't cache anything on that.
Have others experienced that my photos are slow to load? 613photo @ 2008-12-17 17:24:23
The shadow seems much more apparent here than in the previous shot. It's like I'm looking at the growth and its alter-ego. Sean @ 2008-12-17 21:49:32
Lonely plant...I like how you've composed this shot and how the vivid green is a focal point. Lunamania @ 2008-12-18 00:59:33
I didn't delete Clarence's comment (the first one), either. Something weird is going on here. I'm also no getting all e-mail notifications. 613photo @ 2008-12-18 10:10:07
Another beautiful composition, Dustin. Cerstin @ 2008-12-19 10:36:02
I think I prefer this one. The horizontal format is more pleasant, it goes better with the horizontal lines in the wall. Luisa @ 2008-12-22 22:48:21
