Ooh - nice shot! Ugliest building on the planet! Turnbill @ 2008-12-30 19:19:41
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who thinks the building is ugly & I agree it's a nice shot:-) Rachael @ 2008-12-30 20:25:34
Great low wide angle shot, like the perspective. Excellent contrast against a great sky. Interesting mood in this old structure. John Maslowski @ 2008-12-30 20:35:11
I have to say that I don't think this building ugly in the least. I love it's echoes of past stories and events, and you can't fake that time worn patina that the latest décor seems to envy!! Beautifully faded. Jo @ 2008-12-30 21:40:43
lovely shot, i love the looming perspective and the forboding sky! Elaine- @ 2008-12-30 23:09:33
You've breathed life into this structure, Dustin. So much beauty in the natural decay, and so many stories it could tell if only we spoke it's language.
This is an awesome composition EYES WIDE SHUT @ 2008-12-30 23:21:02
I had that lengthy, highly intelligent comment all typed up. Clicked Add and was notified that I took too long and all was gone. So here is the short version: Nice shot of a non-ugly building ;-) Sabine (foKuspoint) @ 2008-12-30 23:42:00
Indeed an abandoned building, and you made it look very nice! =D Liang @ 2008-12-31 00:18:59
bleak. muted colours. wide. real nice. john @ 2008-12-31 02:14:06

Love the title, brother. Nice work. Foreground, subject, background: all great. Patrick @ 2008-12-31 08:33:27
Nice one. I love the sky; it looks so ominous here, and the dead-eyed building just adds to the mood. Nice capture and processing! Caryn Caldwell @ 2008-12-31 09:28:38
Small world for Texas:-) (Speaking about you and Clarence capturing the same structure. I'll never understand why they don't tear down old place like this. They leave them in Arkansas too. Love your low angle for this and the sky is a perfect backdrop. sherri @ 2008-12-31 09:49:35
Great moody shot - love the angle and all the different textures and how the clouds almost seem to touch the roof. daina @ 2008-12-31 10:22:38
WOW!! SUPER! This is an awesome image. The lighting, composition, angle, colors and mood look all perfect to me. The clouds, the colors of the building and revealed texture are truly amazing to me. Fantastic job you have done! I love this image. LightningPaul @ 2008-12-31 10:25:47
I like these abandonned structures! I like your pov a lot, gives a strange mood to the scene.
Thank you for all your comments and Happy New Year!
Charles Phototherapy @ 2008-12-31 10:31:21
I like this, the low angle, the dark clouds with the out-of-shape building in the foreground .. Great! Ivar @ 2008-12-31 10:41:30
Very nice. The treatment here is a modern take on the WPA project - excellent. Chris Cardelli @ 2008-12-31 10:52:33
It`s a great place here. I like it how you have shot this in and the lonely atmoshphere.
Dustin, thank you for all your comments this year. I love to read these. I wished I could write better in english.
I wish you a wonderful Happy New Year ! Cerstin @ 2008-12-31 13:31:30
I have to say I dont find this buildign ugly either a step back to the past in style maybe and worn by time by still has an interesting style to me.
Love the perspective you choose so it contrasts so well with the sky
All the best to you and yours for 2009 JJ @ 2008-12-31 13:34:53
Yep when I pulled it up I said looks like the place The Maggot and Photodotmonkey shot with their color gel flashes at night. This is awesome as well and have had many Banana Splits in my youth at these places.Classic urban decay shot and beautiful. Happy New Year Dustin! Terry H. @ 2008-12-31 14:05:30
YES! Excellent minimalist desolate place. Everything is perfect: sky, colors, angle.
Happy new year!!! Polydactyle @ 2008-12-31 15:31:31
Oh this is just amazingly dramatic! Sumedh Prasad @ 2009-01-01 01:40:22
Bravo pour cette ligne d'horizon en milieu d'image, associée à deux points de fuite distincts, l'un serré à gauche et l'autre plus éloigné... Ainsi que pour l'opposition entre la froideur métallique du ciel et les touches d'ocre rouge... Superbe... Quevauvillers @ 2009-01-01 05:01:06
Ditto that the low and wide angle are great. Coupled with the dark sky, it makes a really moody shot. Nice work. Lunamania @ 2009-01-01 07:19:37
this is an absolutely great shot, i'm gonna subscribe to your feed PiXistenZ @ 2009-01-01 11:07:59
Love it, the brooding sky and the run down building. Just fantastic. Joel @ 2009-01-01 22:32:11
Awesome shot! I love the sky in this. The texture and bold red color of the roof is also really cool. well done. dillonpic @ 2009-01-02 11:33:22
Love the aspect ratio here, and the clouds are awesome. Top work. Tom @ 2009-01-04 13:06:12
Great perspective and excellent composition! Well done! Alison Cornford-Matheson @ 2009-01-05 03:20:26
Excellent low perspective! Perfect for this scene! This has something desolate and eerie over it. Arjan - PlasticDaisy @ 2009-01-05 07:22:46
Nice abandoned DQ shot. I love the clouds and how they add an ominous feel to the photograph. Great find. SD (Aspherical) @ 2009-01-08 22:24:17
Wow, what a perspective.
I think it's not bad that the building is ugly, it makes the photo great (plus the nice tones). Gabor Varga @ 2009-01-14 03:41:20
Nice one..the whole scene you've captured with the breath-taking sky- Kilauea Poetry @ 2009-03-09 12:50:15

Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the internet the simplest
thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly
get irked while people think about worries that they plainly don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks tommy belesis @ 2012-10-14 14:16:41
