  • nooooo murmuring.. it looks like you made this in photoshop, what with the white background being so clean.... very interesting graffiti
    Elaine- @ 2009-03-08 13:55:03
  • Well spotted and captured, the feint traces of the older sign adds to this
    JJ @ 2009-03-08 14:55:20
  • Bonsoir,
What a strange photo, and I mean that in a good way...Very interesting image..Bravo!

    jelb @ 2009-03-08 15:12:37
  • Fascinating and somewhat incongruous in that the grafiti shouts over the word "murmur."
    Suzanne @ 2009-03-08 16:17:58
  • Great photo, really like the comp along with the color and contrasts here. Nice work
    Ivar @ 2009-03-08 16:24:26
  • One day the world will be covered by this stuff.
    clarence @ 2009-03-08 20:40:49
  • When your site first opened, my eyes saw the word murder in lieu of murmur. They need to improve on their graffiti:-) I'm surprised you have a thing about your whites not being grey. It can look white and never really be white if you test the actual color in Photoshop to see what it is.
    sherri @ 2009-03-08 22:05:02
  • I too read the word "murder" and not "murmur". With the splash of red paint, and the graffiti I think that is probably an automatic reaction to see it this way before fulling comprehending. Excellent work.
    bluechameleon @ 2009-03-08 22:44:54
  • If you told me it was an album cover for a new experimental band, I'd have believed you.

It looks like a graphic design - which in a way it is - and it's very cool.

I think your idea's interesting, even though (or maybe even because) it would be weird to work on someone else's image.
    cat @ 2009-03-08 23:31:15
  • A really strong and bold piece of graphics. Very appealing. I'm up for the RAW file swap!
    RHYS @ 2009-03-09 00:45:38
  • wow, this makes a nice abstract!
i started wondering what murmur means...
    yz @ 2009-03-09 02:30:52
  • Nice tag/grafiti picture. I will post one soon too.
    Bogdan @ 2009-03-09 04:55:05
  • Interesting and powerful image Dustin. You capture this one perfectly, kind of an eerie feeling to this one.
    John Maslowski @ 2009-03-09 05:28:34
  • Interesting grafitti. Love the color splashed across the simple black and white.
    Marcie @ 2009-03-09 05:42:51
  • I enjoy the contrast between the meaning of the word murmur with the wild graffiti and even the heavy font of the word is contradictory to its meaning.
    daina @ 2009-03-09 08:29:23
  • Color and intrigue. Who could ask for more. I like this recycled sign, may it live long and have many new layers in the future.
    Andrew @ 2009-03-09 09:43:38
  • Interesting graffiti, the white background makes them pop :)
    Pradeep @ 2009-03-09 09:58:45
  • I, too, saw murder...really interesting capture. I often find it hard to photograph graffiti in an interesting way--this is great.
    Lunamania @ 2009-03-09 11:02:33
  • Nicely done. This is very eye catching.
    Erinn @ 2009-03-09 12:58:19
  • I agree with the first comment by Elaine - It does look like a photoshopped wallpaper - And I don't mean this as criticism, only praising the graphical side of the image.
What does this MURMUR means anyway?
    Ilan @ 2009-03-09 14:25:33
  • excellent graffiti shot!
    Liang @ 2009-03-09 14:40:00
  • Some comments said an eiry feeling. To us, it carries a feeling of violence and destruction. Well captured.
    Framed and Shot @ 2009-03-09 17:12:52
  • MURMUR, with noise. I'll skip the technical/formal critique and jump to giving this the "Must Appear On an Album Cover" award. You know, a killer cover for a band that isn't have as good. One of your best in my opinion.
    Chris Cardelli @ 2009-03-09 20:13:10
  • More like an illustration but i like it. @ 2009-03-10 03:29:15
  • Great graphism
    BoB @ 2009-03-10 08:23:55
  • Nice capture, I like the colors and the contrast between the shape of the black letters and this mess of graffiti splashed all over..
    Milena @ 2009-03-10 14:01:50
  • Good graffiti document, well framed
    Miro at @ 2009-03-10 15:53:17
  • Nice decay - the layering of the tags on the sign and the random drippings give this a very modern feel.
    SD (Aspherical) @ 2009-03-16 19:06:32
  • With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of
plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of unique content I've either
written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of
it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission.
Do you know any ways to help reduce content from being stolen?
    I'd really appreciate it.
